- We have jalapenos and pumpkins growing in our Kinder Garden!
- The Poppers made jalapeno corn muffins and the Snappers made pumpkin soup!

- Snappers: We chopped

- onions

- and carrots.

- We scooped out the inside of the pumpkin and cooked the pumpkin to make it soft .

- We took the seeds out and roasted them. Then we put all the ingredients together and cooked them up into a delicious soup!

- Poppers: “We watered the plants. When they grew, we picked the jalapenos. You twist them to get them off the vine. Then we started to make jalapeno corn muffins.”

- “We chopped the jalapenos. We put them in a bowl. You can’t touch your eyes after you touch jalapenos because the seeds might sting and burn your eyes.”

- We mixed the jalapenos into the Jiffy box mix. We traded three jalapenos for one egg from Ms. Eleni in the Kitchen.

- “We put butter all over the pan so they wouldn’t stick”
